The British High Commission is planning an event to be attended by Youth Leaders, Peace Advocacy groups, Peace activists, School children, Nigerian Olympians, Nigeria Olympics Committee (NOC), National Sports Commission, Faith leaders, Parliamentarians and the Media. If you are based in Abuja and interested in participating in this event, please send an sms to 08098333348 saying; “Interested in Olympics Torch Abuja”. Highlights of the event
The High Commissioner would speak to profile the work of the High Commission, DFID and British Council towards Peace and Stability in Nigeria. Peace Activists would also speak about their experiences, challenges and opportunities in their peace work. It would be an interactive session where participants would be allowed to ask questions. The event will present an opportunity for better understanding and potential for future work in the area of peace advocacy.

The event will hold as follows:

Venue: Abuja National Stadium (The Velodrome)
Time: 10am – 12 noon
